mmm Autumn

 

 There is something about this time of year that makes me a sucker for the following things:

1. caramel apple scented candles

2. brown, orange, red, and gold wrapped candy

3. soup in bread bowls

4. pumpkins

These things plus people I love equals a happy Emily.

Look at that candy.  Amazing.  And the candle holder?  Amazing.

Nothin like Fall leaves with twinkle lights on your porch.  I love the way it shines into my living room each night.

My cute Paul supports me in my Fall get together and festiveness.  (I blame my mother).  I made Organic Black Bean soup for Mattie and I (Mattie is vegan), and Chili for the others.  We also had salad and corn bread with honey butter. No bread bowls.  Turns out they aren't carried until November at Smiths.  It's a shame.

This is my pal Mattie. We went to Woods Cross together, but weren't great friends.  But now we are, and life is much better.  She is probably the worlds most entertaining person.  Ever.

 It's a very cool effect to place candles on glass.

We never actually got to the carving pumpkins part of the night.  So I currently have seven pumpkins on my porch.  I love it.

If anyone comes to visit me in Logan we can have the greatest Fall moments ever together.  Just sayin.
