Cuzins Trip

I have this issue of thinking every post must be epoc.  And then I post nothing.  So with that said, here comes a mediocre post.  But hey, at least it exists.  Just remember that in my head, it looks so much sweeter.

This year Lindsay dominated with he plan-age abilities.  Complete with an itinerary.  What she forgot to consider was Lauren and I's limited abilities to comprehend complex sentences and big words.  But good news!  She included pictures.  I was grateful I didn't invest in the assigned reading, because I enjoyed the surprises.

We loved the bed.  Not all of us got to enjoy the comforts of it at night, but according to Lauren and Ciera the couch provided a woooonderful nights sleep.
Lindsay and I shared.  Just not at night.

Ciera may or may not have removed these picture from the wall and slipped them in her bag.
Fortunately we could sign and date any important papers we needed to while visiting.

So much tie-dye.  It was beautiful.

This chick is straight up from Turkey.  She is here learning English and decided to make some money by selling tie-dyed shirts on the beach.  No big deal.

Straight up from the hood.  We have junk in our trunk.  And will bust a cap if we need to.

We owned the entire ocean when we showed up. Our awesomeness was overwhelming.

I think my favorite memory from this trip was watching Ciera in the ocean.  We would all be laughing having a good time until..."where is Ciera?"  Then we would look about ten feet behind us and see a mass of snorkel, goggle, and flipper being knocked over by a wave.  But she looked the part. Have you ever seen a cuter snorkeler?

When we found and African store we had to go in. Ciera insisted.  I can't think of a single reason as to why she would suddenly be fascinated by this strange culture...

It was a horribly unsuccessful shopping experience.  Obviously.

 I heart free hotel breakfasts.

What lame photographer would keep the wrapper on the grapefruit?

What is it about Lauren's food always looking tastier then yours?

This place was so freakin cute.  Hawaiian food rocks.

I wonder if this cow had a girlfriend.  Or what its children were going to look like.

Yum.  YYYY.  UUUUMMM.  (Your welcome, farm animals whom I love.)

The woman in the background?  A total stocker.  She literally followed us all day, even when we DROVE to a different area of town. She as absolutely part of an evil plan to capture us and give us to the sex trade.  Luckily, we got away.

I absolutely adore PF Changs.  Which conveniently was right across from our hotel, next to the shopping.  Lindsay plopped us in the best place ever.

There is absolutely nothing convenient about going on this trip. It is hard to coordinate schedules and scrape up the money (all of us being poor college students) and certainly overwhelming to plan.  But when all is said and done it is so apparent to me how important it is that we take the time to go.  To take the time to reinforce how much we love each other.  As we all get older we grow apart, moving in our own directions and achieving our own goals, which are drastically different from one another.  But it is reconfirmed to me time after time how much we all need each other.  It is so fun to know about my cousins (and obviously Lauren's) life.  I feel so inspired by the way they live on a day to day basis.  I love feeling apart of it, in a small tucked-between-the-mountains-in-Logan kind of way.  I can't to see what next year brings.  Lauren's got a tough act to follow...
